Michael joined TMCS in 2018 as a member of the 5th cohort, having graduated from Warwick with a first in Maths and Physics. Regarding the TMCS, Mike says:
“Coming from a very mathematical background I relished in the chance to continue taking various theoretical courses in maths, physics and chemistry. This being said I found the chance to study more applied fields invaluable to my development as a scientist and improvement of my coding skills the most critical part of that”.
“Being part of a cohort was one of the best things about the year and the camaraderie of the group was essential to this. Having our own space to work and socialise within the department allowed us to bond as a group and I appreciate all the time I spent with the others in the first year”.
“I am very excited to be continuing my study at the University of Oxford as part of the Doye group where I will be looking at the mechanical properties of DNA in an exciting project funded by CRUK”.
